Educational information, not advice

Numlight's calculators, articles and AI answers are for general educational purposes. They are estimates, not financial, tax, legal or lending advice, and not a loan offer or commitment. Accuracy

We work hard to make our math correct and our data current, and we publish our methods and sources (see our editorial policy). Even so, the site is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, including accuracy, completeness or fitness for a particular purpose. Rules and rates change, and example rates on the site are illustrations, not quotes.

AI features

AI answers are generated automatically and may be incomplete or wrong. Numbers in AI answers come from our calculators, but the explanation around them can still contain mistakes. Don't rely on AI answers alone for financial decisions, and don't enter sensitive personal information.

Acceptable use

• Don't attempt to disrupt, overload or gain unauthorized access to the site or its API.
• Automated use of the API must respect its rate limits.
• Don't use the AI features to generate content unrelated to the calculators, or try to bypass their safeguards.

The site's design, text and code belong to Numlight. Datasets we publish on our data pages may be reused with attribution as stated on each page. Third-party data remains subject to its source's terms.

We may link to other websites, and in the future may show advertising or partner offers. We aren't responsible for third-party sites or products. Any paid relationship will be clearly labeled.

Limitation of liability
